About Us
Theresa Burroughs Residential Living, Incorporated is a Chrisitian-based residential facility that serves individuals with developmental disabilities founded by Mrs. Burroughs' youngest daughter, Toni Love.
Mrs. Theresa Burroughs was a "Foot Soldier for Justice" during the Civil Rights Movement, as well as serving the Greensboro community and the surrounding areas. She did all of these things while tending to the special needs of her oldest daughter, Paula Renae. Today, the youngest of the four children, Toni, wants to continue her mother's legacy of improving Greensboro and making a difference by opening a residential facility, Theresa Burroughs Residential Living, Incorporated.
The facility is needed in the community, which is underserved in this area and would be the first of its kind, providing and improving a positive health influence on all residents and a range of social factors such as: loneliness, isolation, mental health and wellbeing. Also, Toni wants to ensure a professionally run and safe place for Paula and others with special needs to reside. The non-profit organization shares the same name to honor Mrs. Burroughs and her work in the community and in hopes to generate support from everyone who is interested in assisting in bringing change to this small town.

Our Mission
Our mission is to be the preferred senior living provider for women with developmental disabilities offering value, choice and independence while promoting health and social interactions, to exceed our residents' expectations and to enrich the lives of those we serve and employ.
To provide services and support that allow our residents to remain as independent as possible in their residences, while enabling a quality of life for our them and their families which cannot be achieved on their own.
We have developed the right combination of comfort, care, safety and quality so that each resident will want to call the residence "home." By providing meals, housekeeping, activities, transportation, utilities and in-house management staff.
